Trailer Mounted Boom Lifts

Trailer Mounted Boom Lifts

Trailed Mounted Boom Lifts

Trailer mounted boom lifts, sometimes called trailer mounts, are access work platforms mounted onto a specially designed chassis that can easily be towed and transported to various worksites. They feature a boom lift that allows both vertical and horizontal access and are ideal for a range of outdoor and indoor industrial jobs and construction tasks.

Boom lifts feature a platform or bucket with a long arm that is attached to a grounded base, or in this case, the vehicle chassis. The arm is controlled by a hydraulic lift system that allows it to extend out and up to carry workers to the height they need to carry out their aerial work.

These types of lifts offer more flexibility and versatility than other models, such as a scissor lift for example, as booms allow for a forward reach as well as up and down. This gives the operator more precise control over the Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) and therefore means they are widely suited to a range of applications.

Common trailer mounted boom applications include:

  • Multi-site contracts
  • Shopping centres
  • Building and factory maintenance
  • Facilities management
  • CCTV installation
  • Landscaping
  • Billboards
  • Street light maintenance
  • Painting
  • Tree trimming

Hire Safe Solutions lease, hire, and sell a range of trailer mount boom lifts with a working height ranging from 9 to 26 metres. One of the core benefits of this type of lift is that they are road towable and can easily be towed behind a range of vehicles including pickups or SUVs. This means they can be quickly transported between different locations with ease. They also offer a speedy setup using manual or hydraulic outriggers to provide support to the platform and make it suitable for operation in no time at all.

Depending on the model you select, some are equipped with a self levelling system which further minimises setup time, and thus increases productivity and time on site. Additionally, every towable boom in our product selection is designed to be lightweight and compact, provide an exceptional working range for their size, and offer simple operation and transportability.

Our team of equipment specialists are happy to offer advice and guidance on the most suitable option for your application based on your specific requirements.
