The CAP programme complements IPAF’s operator training courses by extending the promotion of a safety culture to machine maintenance as well as operation. Successful CAP assessment provides suitable candidates with the valuable documentary evidence that they are certified as competent persons to plan, manage or carry out thorough examinations of platforms in the context of current legislation including the Work at Height Regulations, LOLER and PUWER 98. Hire Safe Solutions can train at one of our facilities throughout the UK, additionally we can train on your site or premises provided the basic facilities are adequate. Designed to give candidates sound knowledge of good safe working practices along with hands-on practical skills to enable them to safely use powered access equipment.

Certification:
On successful completion, the candidates will receive a Competent Assessed Persons (CAP) card, the card will have their name and picture. The card will also identify the categories that were completed successfully. The CAP card expires after five years.
