Hire Safe Solutions are pleased to offer this IPAF Safety Harness training course, it is for anyone who operates a MEWP. We can facilitate a start time to suit your business needs.  You can train at one of our facilities throughout the UK, additionally we can train on your site or premises provided the basic facilities are adequate. Designed to give candidates sound knowledge of good safe working practices along with hands-on practical skills to enable them to safely use powered access equipment.

  • Introduction and course overview including legislation
  • Definition of work at height categories
  • Inertia devices, functions, operations and requirements
  • CE certification, conformity and record keeping
  • Harness Inspection
  • Suitable anchorage points
  • Storage & Maintenance

Who Should Attend?

This course is for anyone who operates a MEWPs and in particular Boom Type MEWPs

Number of Candidates:

Maximum 10 per instructor.

Duration:

½ day

Certification:

A certificate and not a PAL Card will be issued for candidates who do not have an IPAF card, existing cards will identify this additional category. The IPAF Card Expires after five years.
