Tracked Access Platforms

When working at height, safety always comes first. When adverse weather conditions hit or you are faced with challenging ground conditions, a tracked mobile elevated access platform can be the way forward.

Tracked access platforms are all-terrain platforms that are specifically designed to tackle the most challenging terrains that may pose problems for heavy access equipment. They are designed to minimise the challenge posed by uneven and tough ground.

Tracked platforms are mounted on a continuous track rather than simply on wheels. The track provides extra stability as it spreads out the weight of the machine across a larger surface area. This helps to reduce pressure on the ground and enables the platform to travel over challenging ground more easily. Tracked platforms can operate over soft ground as well as steep gradients, undulating and uneven terrain and even steps. What’s more, tracked machines are also very popular for indoor projects. They are versatile machines suitable for indoor and outdoor use and a variety of construction projects.

At Hire Safe Solutions, our extreme terrain vehicle range is made up of the most robust machines designed specifically to handle the toughest jobs. We stock a range of tracked vehicles including:

The advantages of our ETV vehicles are many. They are narrow meaning they can access hard to reach places where space is restricted and can easily traverse congested work areas. They are lightweight and flexible meaning they are easy to transport and are suited to a wide range of jobs. Plus, they offer grade-ability, meaning they can climb steep slopes or steps at a speed, making it quicker and easier to access hard-to-reach areas. All of these elements provide the user with added security and safety as they are designed specifically to handle challenging and demanding conditions.

We recommend tracked MEWPs for a variety of jobs including:

  • Internal or external projects where slopes or hills may be present
  • If there is a risk of soft, muddy or undulating ground
  • Horticulture
  • Arboriculture
  • Tunnelling

Our cherry pickers provide a working height from 40ft to 73ft and are one of our most popular type of tracked machines. We stock from some of the leading suppliers in the industry including Jibbi, Genie and JLG. Other popular equipment includes our tracked scissor lifts from Almac which use a hybrid bi-fuel system to allow the machine to run on diesel outdoors or battery power when indoors!

All of our machines are available to hire, lease or buy and we can organise next day delivery for almost all of our range. Plus, we guarantee that all of our equipment is inspected, tested and maintained to our high levels of safety procedures. Our experienced technicians ensure that every piece of equipment, new or used, meets our standards. Your safety is the most important thing to us.
