Bringing Families Closer: VCreate Software Launches at Birmingham Children's Hospital Thanks to Our Fundraising

On Wednesday 21^st August, Hire Safe Solutions and Utility Site Solutions visited Birmingham Children’s Hospital to see the software, that we have been jointly fundraising for, in action.

There are many reasons why parents are unable to visit the hospital 24/7 and without the nurses ability to send photos or videos, they often miss out on important milestones such as baby’s first bath. The VCreate Software solves this issue by allowing parents to keep in contact with their children at any given time.

It has so far been put to use on the Neonatal Surgical Ward and we got the chance to speak to some of the nurses, and the parents of a very brave 4-month-old called Willow, to hear how the software had benefitted them.

The nurses explained that they were continually saying “If only we had a camera to capture all the special moments” and now, thanks to VCreate they have that ability.

The VCreate Software will be a yearly cost to Birmingham Children’s Hospital, so we are continuing our fundraising efforts to try and fund this amazing connection between parents and their children for as long as possible.
