IPAF 3b – Mobile Boom | Cherry Picker or Straight Boom Training
Once successfully completing IPAF 3b training – mobile boom training, the trainee will be qualified to operate all mobile boom type MEWPs. Our training experts will be available to answer any questions you may have regarding your course and the qualification you will receive.
We have training centre’s located throughout the UK , where anyone can qualify to operate Mobile Booms, Cherry Picker’s and Straight Booms. We also have the ability to be able to offer candidates the option to train on their own site or premises provided the facilities are adequate and an IPAF 3b boom is available for the delegates to use. The IPAF 3b course is designed to give candidates constructive information on good safe working practices, while gaining hands-on practical skills and experience which will enable them to operate the machine safely and effectively.

Who Should Attend?
The course is designed for anybody who operates mobile boom MEWPs.
Number of candidates:
The maximum number of delegates per instructor would be 6 No. For larger groups (up to 12 No) a second trainer can be made available.
We are also happy to cater for smaller groups, should this be necessary.
The course duration is 1 day. Candidates with some experience will usually need no longer than 1 day to obtain IPAF 3b certification.
After successfully completing the course candidates will receive a Powered Access Licence (PAL) Card, the card will show their name and a current photograph. The card will identify the categories that were completed successfully, in this case IPAF 3b. The card is valid for five years.
